Within Sony, we take an active role to provide programs that foster an understanding on the values of a culturally rich environment. One such program is our Diversity for Competitive Advantage Workshop. Designed specifically for Sony Electronics and our business leaders, the workshop serves to:

• Increase understanding of the changing demographics of the domestic workforce as well as Sony's customer base.
• Increase awareness of the dimensions of diversity in the workplace.
• Learn how many of the subtle dynamics associated with diversity create barriers to inclusion.
• Understand how subtle barriers impact recruiting, retention, employee satisfaction, employee development, teamwork and productivity.
• Clarify the business case for diversity at Sony Electronics and understand its impact on the business.
